Mark Saal, Standard-Examiner columnist
May 6 2014 - 8:44am

Mark Saal, Standard-Examiner columnist
Apr 28 2014 - 6:31pm

You're looking at a guy who has successfully avoided every winter camp that has been thrown at him since 1971.When I was a lad, my mother enrolled me in the Boy Scouts of America. In the beginning, Scout camps weren't a problem there in sunny Southern California. But then, we moved to Northern Utah.

Mark Saal
Apr 26 2014 - 5:24pm

The stores in Box Elder County must be having another run on aluminum foil. You knew it was only a matter of time before it happened, right? Apparently, our increasingly socialist government is now weaponizing utility meters in Brigham City.

Jim Burton, Standard-Examiner columnist
Apr 17 2014 - 7:28am

Gordon Hayward is such a good guy I think I'd fall over backward if I ever heard him snap at a reporter, even one who'd just asked one of those awkward "if you could be a tree, what kind of a tree would you be" type questions.Still, the Utah Jazz veteran has a funny way of chuckling when he's asked a question that strikes him as strange, or silly...
